Post-construction cleaning
A finished project still isn't finished until the dust is gone. We clean new builds and fit-outs to handover standard, so the first impression is the one you designed.
The problem
Construction leaves fine dust in every gap, cement and grout haze on tile, adhesive and paint spots on glass and fixtures, and protective film that has baked onto floors. Ordinary cleaning spreads it around; using the wrong chemical on stone or metal causes damage that shows up on handover day.
Our solution
We work through the site in a fixed order, top to bottom and rough to fine: debris and film removal, then dust extraction with HEPA vacuums, then surface-appropriate cleaning of glass, sanitaryware, kitchens, joinery and floors. Stone and metal are cleaned with products matched to the material.
Process
- Walkthrough to list the surfaces, the finishing trades still on site and the handover date
- Written scope and quotation, with an optional final "sparkle" clean after snagging
- Rough clean, detail clean and final inspection with a room-by-room checklist
Result
A property that is ready to photograph, inspect and hand over, with no dust reappearing after the first week.
Post-Construction Cleaning questions
How soon after the builders leave can you start?
As soon as wet trades are finished. If painting or snagging is still going on we schedule a rough clean now and a final clean after.
Do you remove protective film and stickers?
Yes, including film that has hardened, using methods that don't scratch the surface underneath.
